Reduce Manual Handling
Automatic counting, conveying and film packing help reduce repetitive labor after the paper cup forming process.
The WSM-PACK packing machine for paper cup production is an automatic counting, conveying and film-packaging system engineered for stable, high-volume paper cup factories. One packing system can be configured to work with 1, 5, 10 or 20 paper cup forming machines, helping manufacturers reduce manual handling and create a more continuous production line.
A reliable packing line must do more than seal film. It has to receive cups continuously, count them accurately, move each stack without interruption and synchronize with the output of the upstream forming machines.
WSM-PACK is designed as a packing machine for paper cup factories that want to connect multiple paper cup forming machines to one organized downstream packing system. The layout can be planned according to the number of forming machines, required production volume and factory floor arrangement.
Automatic counting, conveying and film packing help reduce repetitive labor after the paper cup forming process.
A single packing system can be planned for 1, 5, 10 or 20 paper cup forming machines according to factory capacity.
Servo motor-driven film feeding supports precise and stable film movement during automatic packaging.
Conveyor layout and machine integration can be configured around production volume and future capacity planning.
The following photographs are the existing images already used on this product page. They show the packing system, paper cup factory layout, conveyor transport and film sealing process.
For high-capacity factories, the packing system can be integrated with a large number of paper cup forming machines. Finished cups are transferred through the conveyor line toward centralized counting and packing, helping organize downstream production.
This configuration is suitable when a manufacturer wants a packing machine for paper cup production that can support multiple upstream forming units while reducing manual transport between machines.
A compact configuration is available for smaller or medium-capacity factories. The same automation concept can be adapted to a 3–5 machine production group while maintaining automatic cup transfer, counting and film packing.
Woosung reviews the actual paper cup size, forming-machine quantity and factory layout before recommending the most practical packing-line configuration.
Main specifications currently provided for the WSM-PACK automatic paper cup packing system. Final configuration should be confirmed according to cup size, required pack quantity, film specification and the number of paper cup forming machines connected to the line.

Finished paper cups leave the forming machine and enter the downstream conveyor system.
The conveyor transports cup stacks from one or multiple forming machines toward the packing section.
Counters organize the required quantity before each paper cup stack proceeds to film packaging.
Servo-fed heat-sealable film wraps the cup stack and the sealing section completes the package.
Woosung Machinery manufactures equipment for the wider paper cup production process. When planning a complete line, packing capacity should be matched to the output of the upstream paper cup forming machines and the required factory workflow.
Woosung Machinery Co. is a specialist manufacturer of paper cup production equipment in South Korea. Our goal is to supply practical production systems built around stable operation, durable engineering and direct technical communication. For an accurate WSM-PACK proposal, send us your cup size, required cups per pack, film type, number of forming machines and factory layout.
Yes, of course. If the automatic cup counting unit and the conveyor system that transfers the cups to the main packing machine are excluded, the packing machine price can be significantly reduced. In this configuration, operators must manually stack the paper cups according to the required quantity and place each stack onto the packing machine conveyor by hand. This is a simpler and more economical solution when a fully automatic counting and transfer system is not required.
For low-speed models such as the SH-K01, the system can handle up to 20 paper cup machines. For high-speed models such as the MH-K01, it can handle up to 15 paper cup machines. The system can be configured for 1, 5, 10 or 20 paper cup forming machines. The final conveyor and counter layout should be planned according to actual spped capacity of paper cup forming machines and available floor space.
The current WSM-PACK specification is approximately 40–50 packages per minute. Actual production should be confirmed according to the cup, quantity per pack, film and production-line configuration.
LDPE, HDPE and PP film can be used when the selected film is suitable for heat sealing and can melt correctly under the machine's sealing conditions. The recommended film thickness is approximately 8–13 microns, while the most commonly used thickness is around 9–11 microns. The most important requirement is that the film must be heat-sealable. Film materials that cannot be heat-sealed, or that are difficult to seal reliably with heat, are not suitable for use with the packing machine.
Basically, the packing machine is designed and adjusted for **one cup size at a time**. Please read the following explanation carefully. If you want to change to another cup size, it is possible after making the necessary adjustments. However, once the machine is adjusted for that size, it should normally be used for that particular cup size. For example, if you stack **50 cups each of 7 oz, 10 oz, and 12 oz cups**, the total stack height and outer diameter will be different for each size. If the packing machine is adjusted based on the **12 oz cup size**, then when packing 7 oz cups, there will be empty space inside the plastic film because the 7 oz stack is shorter. In addition, since the diameter of the 7 oz cup is smaller than that of the 12 oz cup, there will also be extra space in the film width. Therefore, if you are willing to accept the additional **film waste** caused by packing smaller cups such as 10 oz and 7 oz using a setting based on the larger 12 oz cup, then it is possible to pack all three sizes with one machine. In fact, some of our customers use one packing machine for several different cup sizes in this way. For the extra film remaining because of the difference in stack height, some customers do not cut off the excess film manually. Instead, they simply fold or push the remaining film into the top paper cup before placing the packed cups into the carton. So technically, several cup sizes can be packed with one machine, but this may result in additional film waste and less compact packaging when smaller cup sizes are packed using settings based on a larger cup size.
