Choose a paper cup machine by cup size, target speed, paper specification and long-term production requirements. WOOSUNG MACHINERY builds mechanical paper cup machines for stable industrial production and straightforward maintenance.
There is no single paper cup machine that is best for every cup. Production speed changes with cup size, paper thickness, coating and operating conditions. The table below is a practical starting point.
| Model | Typical Speed | Best For | Drive Concept |
|---|---|---|---|
| WSGP1700 | 180–200 cups/min | High-output production | Mechanical main drive |
| SUPER SH-K01 | Up to 150–160 cups/min* | High-speed cup production | Mechanical main drive |
| MH-K01 | Approx. 110–150 cups/min* | Medium to large cup sizes | Mechanical main drive |
| SH-K01 | 60–80 cups/min* | Stable medium-speed production | Mechanical main drive |
*Actual production speed depends on cup size, paper, coating and production conditions.
180–200 cups/min
For factories that prioritize high output and continuous production.
High-speed production
A high-speed mechanical paper cup machine for demanding production environments.
Approx. 110–150 cups/min
Recommended especially for 9 oz and above, heavier paper and larger cup applications.
60–80 cups/min
A practical choice when stable production and simple maintenance matter more than maximum speed.
Before selecting a machine, confirm the cup volume, top diameter, bottom diameter, height, wall angle, paper thickness, coating type and required daily output. These values determine whether a machine can run the cup stably at the target speed.
A machine advertised at a high maximum speed does not automatically deliver the same output with every cup. Larger cups, heavier paper and difficult coatings can reduce stable operating speed. We recommend evaluating the speed for your actual cup and paper, not only the brochure number.
WOOSUNG normally recommends one main cup size per machine for production efficiency. A full size change can require many mechanical parts and several hours of adjustment. If two cup sizes must share one machine, similar wall angle, bottom diameter and height make changeover easier.
Paper quality directly affects side sealing, bottom sealing, curling and leakage. For new paper specifications, testing before machine shipment or before large-volume paper purchasing is strongly recommended.
WOOSUNG uses a mechanical cam and gear concept for the main forming motion, with servo technology applied where it is useful, such as feeding. The design philosophy is simple: keep the forming mechanism robust, accessible and easier to maintain.
Price depends on speed, cup size, configuration, electrical requirements and optional equipment. For an accurate quotation, send the cup drawing or sample together with the required production speed.
It can be technically possible within the machine range, but changeover time and the number of replacement parts can be significant. For efficient mass production, one main size per machine is generally recommended.
The answer depends on the exact paper and coating. Sealing temperature, coating amount, surface friction and paper stiffness all matter. New materials should be tested with the actual machine conditions before mass production.
Typical WOOSUNG machines are designed around industrial three-phase power such as 380 V 50/60 Hz, with 400 V configurations for Europe. Final electrical specifications are confirmed for each project.
Warranty conditions depend on the sales contract and machine configuration. WOOSUNG commonly provides extended mechanical coverage with separate coverage for electrical components, which are affected by the local electrical environment.
Send your cup drawing, cup size, paper specification and target production speed. We will recommend the most suitable WOOSUNG model and explain the practical production conditions before quotation.
